Barrie is a cashmere knitwear manufacturer founded in Hawick in 1903 by Walter Barrie and Robert Kersel, originally making hosiery. Chanel bought the mill in 2012 as part of its Métiers d'Art group and launched Barrie as a standalone label in 2014. Collections are designed in Paris and knitted in Hawick, with cardigans around €1,290–1,490 and pullovers around €870–1,390.
